The program is quite simple, and very effective. Here is how it works...
Each scratchcard has 50 donation amounts covered by a "scratchable" gray coating keeping the donation amounts hidden.
1. The fundraising participants show the scratchcard to a
friend or family
member and asks them to scratch off one or two hidden donation
amounts.
2. The hidden donation amounts range from 50¢ to $3.00.
3. They then add the total amount of the hidden donations and this is their contribution to the fundraiser.
4. The fundraising participant then offers the donor a valuable coupon worth at least $13.00. The coupon is a "Thank You" from both the fundraising group, and the coupon sponsors.
